Orland Township Partners with Meijer for Simply Give Campaign

Orland Township and Meijer in Orland Park are joining forces to provide much-needed hunger relief to local families through the retailer’s customer-driven food pantry donation program, Simply Give, according to Orland Township Supervisor Paul O’Grady.

Simply Give encourages customers to purchase $10 Simply Give donation cards, which are then converted to Meijer food-only gift cards and given to the Township’s food pantry.

“We truly appreciate Meijer and their customers for their generosity and support,” said Supervisor O’Grady. “We encourage Meijer shoppers to add a Simply Give donation card to their cart when checking out and help stock the shelves of the Orland Township Food Pantry, which assists more than 300 families every month.”

Simply Give donation cards are available at the checkout counters of the Orland Park Meijer Store, 15701 71st Ct., now through September 15.
