Orland Township Pet Food Pantry Receives Donation from Chuy’s

Dog photos raise nearly $300

Orland Township’s Pet Food Pantry was honored to receive a donation check from Chuy’s Tex Mex, one of Orland Park’s newest restaurants, according to the office of Township Supervisor Paul O’Grady.

For a three-day period at the end of February, Chuy’s Tex Mex, held a dog photo drive, promising to donate $1 to the Orland Township Pet Food Pantry for every photo of a dog emailed to the restaurant for their “dog wall”. Nearly 300 photos were sent to Chuy’s which are framed and on display in the restaurant’s bar area.

“I want to thank Chuy’s for their donation and for including Orland Township residents in their restaurant’s unique décor,” said Supervisor O’Grady.
