Orland Township Reinvents 'Dating Game' For Seniors

ORLAND TOWNSHIP, IL -- Enjoy an evening of fun as eligible senior bachelors and bachelorettes compete for a chance to meet a new flame (or friend). The Orland Township Senior Dating Game is modeled after the popular hit television game show “The Dating Game.” The Senior Dating Game gets underway on Thursday, Oct. 4, at the Orland Chateau, 14500 S. LaGrange Road, Orland Park. Doors open at 6 p.m.

Pre-chosen bachelors and bachelorettes will be escorted on-stage to compete for a date by asking or answering a variety of questions, while hidden from each other’s view. Winning couples will be treated to an all-expenses paid date for two. Audience members will enjoy an unlimited pizza and salad buffet, non-alcoholic drinks and dessert while viewing the live show. A cash bar is also available.

Tickets are $20 and are on sale now at Orland Township, 14807 S. Ravinia Ave. in Orland Park. All proceeds from the event benefit the Orland Township Scholarship Foundation. It is not known if Orland Township Supervisor Paul O’Grady will reprise the role of Dating Game host Jim Lange.

“Good friends, good food and a show with a hint of romance, Orland Township’s Senior Dating Game promises to be an entertaining evening,” O’Grady said
