Palos Health South Campus Unveiled At Open House This Saturday

Palos Health and Loyola Medicine unveil state-of-the-art south campus expansion in Orland Park with an open house this Saturday, Aug. 11.

ORLAND PARK, IL – Area residents are invited to the unveiling of the newly expanded Palos Health South Campus in Orland Park this Saturday, Aug. 11. The 83,000-square-foot expansion is part of a unique partnership between Palos Health and Loyola Medicine. Residents will be able to tour the facility at 15600 West Ave., Orland Park from 9 to 11 a.m.

The facility will offer cutting edge imaging and laboratory technology, comprehensive cancer care, outpatient surgery center and outpatient clinics aimed at bringing nationally ranked academic care closer to home for residents of the southwest suburbs.

A standout feature of the new facility is a leading-edge radiation therapy system, called Viewray MRIdian, that's guided in real time by MRI imaging and targets tumors with millimeter precision. Loyola and Palos become the first in Illinois – and only the 10th worldwide – to offer this groundbreaking technology.
