• Customer Shoots Suspect During Attempted Armed Robbery At Orland Gas Station: Police (patch.com) — Orland Park police say a concealed-carry customer shot a suspect who allegedly tried to rob him at gunpoint while he was pumping gas at the Shell station on Harlem Avenue Tuesday morning. The suspect was hospitalized, the scene was quickly secured, and investigators report there is no ongoing threat to the public as they continue their investigation.
