• 'Exciting Step Forward' For Care: State Clears Northwestern Medicine To Build New Cancer Center In Orland (patch.com) — Residents of Orland Park can look forward to a major boost in local cancer care as Northwestern Medicine moves ahead with a new St. George Cancer Institute on its Orland Park campus. Backed by a significant grant and village approval, the four-level facility will bring advanced diagnostics, theranostics, and comprehensive oncology services closer to home, with groundbreaking planned for early 2027 and completion in spring 2030.
