• Concealed Carry and Self-Defense in Illinois Caught on Camera (blogspot.com) — A concealed carry license holder shot an armed man during an attempted robbery at an Orland Park gas station, with surveillance video showing the driver drawing and firing as the masked suspect approached. Police later caught the injured suspect, and the station owner publicly backed the customer's right to defend himself, fueling broader debate about self-defense in Illinois.
