Domestic Battery
Jehad J. Ammra, 47, of the 18000 block of Erickson Court in Orland Park, was charged with domestic battery. Police said they were called about a domestic dispute in the 18000 block of Erickson Court around 6:55 a.m. Witnesses said during an argument, Ammra had kicked a woman, struck her on the back with an open hand and forced open a door, police said.
Warrant Arrest
Police said an officer was flagged down by a man in the 15600 block of Harlem Avenue around 11:25 p.m. Charles B. Askew, 27, of the 9100 block of South Essex Avenue in Chicago, told police he was trying to call a cab but his phone died. The officer found an active warrant for assault for Askew, and he was arrested, according to the report.

Retail Theft
Crystal B. Lucas, 29, of the 7500 block of West 160th Place in Tinley Park, was charged with retail theft. Security at Kohl’s told police that a woman was seen putting two shirts in a bag and leaving without paying, according to the report.
Accident
Police were called to a traffic accident near 151st Street and Orlan Brook Drive around 1:40 a.m. Suzanne M. Condon, 38, of the 16500 block of Garnet Court in Orland Park, was found behind the wheel of a car with the airbags deployed, police said. Two empty cases of beer were found inside the car, and an officer said her breath smelled of alcohol, according to the report. Condon failed field sobriety tests, and was charged with driving under the influence with a blood-alcohol level greater than .08, failure to reduce speed to avoid and accident and driving an uninsured vehicle.

Accident and Snow Bank
Megan McKillip, 26, of the 14200 block of Wedgewood Glens Drive in Orland Park, was charged with driving under the influence with a blood-alcohol level greater than .08, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and failure to carry a license. Police were called to a traffic accident in the 15000 block of 82nd Avenue around 1:40 a.m. A car was found with damage to its front and it was stuck in a snow bank, according to the report. McKillip was found behind the wheel, her breath smelled of alcohol and she failed field sobriety tests, police said.
