The real Jim Dodge

Orland Park for All and Jim Dodge have shown that their campaign will be built on deceit and lies. They recently paid for an advertisement linking to an article that used false statements to substantiate their claims. Honestly, after reading his paid political piece on this forum, which does zero fact checking, I have to set the record straight and tell the residents, bluntly, that Jim Dodge is a slick, dog faced, pony liar who cannot be trusted. His "word" means nothing. Calling him two faced is too kind. When running for state treasurer, he campaigned for term limits. Thirteen days after he lost the election by a landslide, he voted AGAINST term limits on the Village Board floor. He was a "fan boy" for Centennial Park West. He admitted on the Board floor that the sole purpose for the land acquisition of Centennial Park West was to create a Ravinia Park South. Now, not so much. He telegraphed to the residents that he allow video gaming in the Village boundaries until the night of the vote. He voted against it. He told me, in front of a witness at Papa Joe's, that he knew it was the right thing for the Village, but politics came into play. "Politics" is a euphemism for a five-thousand-dollar anti-gaming donation to his campaign. Whether you are for or against video gaming in the Village, one thing for sure, Jim Dodge's vote is for sale. The only thing he stands for is lining his pockets with taxpayer money. The most outrageous stunt he tried to hatch was to falsify employment records as a work around to regain the pension grab. A Board vote was needed to stop this unethical behavior. Every thing I have stated is true and can be proved. I am willing to meet with anyone to discuss these facts. I can't believe that it is only November, and voting takes place in April 2025 and the lies from his campaign have begun to fly.....but then again, we need the time to expose the weasel that infects this flawed candidate.
