Illinois Chess Vets Organize Weekly Chess Club at Worth Township

All ages are invited to come out and learn the game of chess from U.S. Chess Federation-certified coaches at Worth Township.

ALSIP, IL -- Have you ever wanted to learn the game of chess but didn’t think you can? The Illinois Chess Vets are organizing a weekly chess club and instruction at Worth Township for all ages. U.S. Chess Federation Certified-coaches and VA Hospital chess program facilitators will help you get started. Residents living in and outside Worth Township are invited to come out and learn the game from patient instructors. Experienced players of varying levels are also invited to help teach others or just find someone to play with. The chess club meets every Wednesday (except for July 4) from 4 to 8 p.m. at Worth Town Hall, 11601 S. Pulaski Road, Alsip. RSVP today.
