'Suspicious Activity' Reported At Bus Stop In Palos Township
Police say someone was reported to have been taking pictures of students waiting at a bus stop near 130th Street and 86th Avenue.
PALOS HEIGHTS, IL — Additional police patrols have been added to the area of 86th Avenue and 130th Street in unincorporated Palos Township after someone in a cream-colored SUV was reported to have taken pictures of students waiting at a bus stop near that location on Tuesday.
Palos Heights police said the incident was reported to the Cook County Sheriff's Office, but law enforcement currently does not have a description of the driver of the car. Officials with the Palos School District 118 reported the incident to authorities.
Police urge parents to talk to their children about how to remain safe and remind them to watch for and report suspicious activity when going to and from school.
