Sandburg Music Boosters Craft Show Returns Saturday and Sunday

ORLAND PARK, IL -- It was 29 years ago that the Carl Sandburg Music Boosters debuted the first Spring Craft Show in an effort to support the renowned music program at CSHS. The craft show has now grown to become one of the most anticipated annual craft shows in the area. Numerous crafters will be in attendance to make shopping for Easter and spring essentials a breeze March 10 and March 11.

This year, the show has expanded and will feature over 180 crafters and vendors offering handmade jewelry, home decor items, hand-crafted gifts, wood crafts, iron work, food, clothing, handbags and more. In addition to shopping opportunities, the show will offer musical entertainment by talented, local students, raffle prizes, food concessions and a bake sale featuring homemade desserts and breads.

Attendees can purchase raffle tickets for chances to win gift baskets filled with various prizes including tickets to a Chicago White Sox game, a basket filled with various gift cards to local venues, a wine enthusiast basket and more. Guests are encouraged to stop by the raffle table to see all of the prizes.

“So many shoppers and vendors look forward to this event every year,” explained Carl Sandburg Music Booster President Don Vacha. “The money raised allows the Carl Sandburg Music Boosters to make available opportunities and scholarships for the music students at Sandburg.”

The 29th annual Carl Sandburg Music Boosters Spring Craft Show will be held Saturday, March 10 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, March 11 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Carl Sandburg High School, 13300 S. LaGrange Rd., Orland Park. Admission is $3 per person and children under 12 are admitted free. The first 500 shoppers will get a FREE shopping bag, so be sure to get there early.
