'Shell Game' by Sara Paretsky mentions Orland Park
Unfortunately she didn't know the name of our High School and called it 'Orland Park High School'

Bet you thought you were at Carl Sandburg HS, but it seems that you are now renamed.
Mystery writer Sara Paretsky has been writing thrillers set in and around Chicago for many years and just now and then mentions Palos and Orland Park.

In her 2018 novel 'Shell Game' (p. 128) she mentions a character wearing an Orland Park High School sweatshirt. Well you can't get it right 100% of the time, but as a 1964 graduate I would have liked it a lot more if she had gotten the high school name right.
Perhaps students could start a collection where you could chip in 50 cents toward getting Ms Paretsky a nice CSHS sweatshirt. Might help jog her memory should she decide to mention our school in another novel.
