St. Michael's Basketball Team Win Back-to-Back Titles

The St. Michael's (SMS) 5th grade blue boys basketball team won the 2016 South Suburban Basketball League post-season tournament earning the unique distinction of being back-to-back champions. “We are so impressed with of all these boys and what they bring each season,” says Jim Hnilo, SMS 5th grade head coach. “Whether they win or lose, they show exceptional sportsmanship and a willingness to succeed both on and off the court.” Team members include Luke Allocco, Colin Bonini, Nick Frenkel, Jake Hnilo, Ben Meehan, Jace Molinets, Liam Ryan and Brandon Simmons. The coaches are Jim Hnilo and Ted Meehan.
