ORLAND PARK, IL — An Orland Park car wash will soon offer scares with its suds, with plans to transform into a tunnel of terror for customers this Halloween.

Tommy’s Express Car Wash will bring its Tunnel of Terror to the chain's Orland Park location, 15819 Wolf Rd. Orland Park.

Based in western Michigan, the company has more than 130 locations across the country; about half of them will shift into scare mode. The Orland Park location is the only one in Illinois to participate. It's the location's second year in the starring role.

As an added effect this year, guests can tune into a radio station in their car, piping scary sounds through their speakers as they go for the ride.

"It'll enhance your experience from start to finish," Kantzioris said.

Kantzioris jumped at the chance to transform the car wash for a second time, after it was a hit last year. They'll also hand out candy.

The scares will run Oct. 28–30, from 6 to 10 p.m. each night. The car wash is located at 15819 Wolf Rd., in Orland Park.
