Tables Available For Orland Park Spring Garage Sale
The Orland Park Special Recreation program will hold its annual spring garage sale on Saturday, March 28 at the Orland Park Civic Center.

ORLAND PARK, IL — One of the largest yearly indoor garage sale events in the region returns to the Orland Park Civic Center on Saturday, March 28 this year. Sellers will offer a variety of items from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. inside the civic center at 14750 S. Ravinia Ave. As in years past, the Village of Orland Park Recreation Department’s Special Recreation program will run the event.
“This event has a true community feel as residents come together for a day of shopping while supporting a great cause,” Orland Park Mayor Keith Pekau said. “This is a great event all around because proceeds help provide supplies for Special Recreation programs and uniforms for our Special Olympians.”
Banquet-sized tables are available for rent for $28 per table, according to a news release from the village. Reservations can be made at the Village Hall, 14700 S. Ravinia Ave. or at the village’s Sportsplex, 11351 W. 159th St. Limited spots are available, and tables are pre-assigned on a first come, first served basis. Interested sellers should call Barb Rhodes at 708-403-6202 with any questions.

“Shoppers will find housewares, clothes, books, collectibles, holiday decorations and more," Orland Park Special Recreation Supervisor Kathleen Michau said. "This is a nice, indoor event that people look forward to every year. They can browse items available from multiple sellers all under one roof, enjoy concessions and find some great buys... Our sellers like it too because they keep all of their profits.”
