Technology Veteran Named Chief Tech Officer for Orland Park
David Buwick Joined Orland Park Village Staff June 10

ORLAND PARK, IL (June 26, 2019) – David Buwick was named chief technology officer for the Village of Orland Park effective June 10, 2019.
Buwick comes to Orland Park from the DuPage County Health Department where he led the Information Technology Department for more than five years.
“Dave has more than 20 years’ experience helping organizations achieve their technology goals,” said Interim Village Manager Tom Dubelbeis. “He has great government experience with a variety of organizations on the local and federal levels.”

Buwick’s resume includes having served as a network administrator and IT project manager for the City of Naperville for 15 years and as systems manager for the Naperville Park District. He also served as director of constituent relations and as a staff assistant for U.S. Representative Harris Fawell.
"I enjoy using information technology to enable village staff to work more efficiently, reduce costs and provide quality and secure services to our residents,” Buwick said. “I was hired with these goals in mind and I look forward to collaborating with staff, trustees and residents to achieve them.”

Buwick holds a bachelor’s degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and has a number of field related certifications.
