Teens Invited to Orland Park Police Teen Citizens Academy
Teens interested in law enforcement are invited to attend the Orland Park Police Department's Teen Citizens Police Academy.

ORLAND PARK, IL -- The Orland Park Police Department invites local teens to enjoy a free, two-day look at local law enforcement. The department will offer its Teen Citizens Police Academy. The academy will take place Tuesday, June 5 and Wednesday, June 6. The program introduces teens to a number of the department’s programs and responsibilities.
“The teen police academy is a great way for the young people of the community to learn more about the police department,” said Orland Park Trustee Pat Gira, chair of the village's Public Safety Committee. “This is also a great opportunity for those considering law enforcement as a career to get a firsthand look at one of the best police departments in the State of Illinois,” she said.
The teen academy will be held on Tuesday, June 5 and Wednesday, June 6, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day, at the Orland Park Police Department, 15100 South Ravinia Avenue.
