Thanksgiving Luncheon at Orland Township

Orland Township Seniors Celebrate Thanksgiving Early

Nearly 120 Orland Township seniors celebrated Thanksgiving a few days early at a luncheon hosted by the Township, according to the Office of Orland Township Supervisor Paul O’Grady.

The sell-out crowd enjoyed a traditional Thanksgiving dinner of turkey, stuffing, carrots, mashed potatoes and gravy, catered by Winston’s Market in Tinley Park. The meal was finished with pumpkin pie with whipped cream for dessert.

After lunch, the seniors enjoyed the music of Frank Sinatra, Elvis and Neal Diamond and others from the 50’s and 60’s, as performed by local entertainer Ral Donner, Jr.
