Thief Hits 3 Stores In 1 Day, Takes Thousands In Goods: Orland PD
A Chicago man targeted three stores in one afternoon, Orland Park police said.

ORLAND PARK, IL — A Chicago man faces charges of felony retail theft after he stole a total of thousands of dollars in goods from three stores in Orland Park Wednesday afternoon, police said.
Police were called to Best Buy, 15854 S. La Grange Rd., at 2 p.m. Wednesday for a report of retail theft. A man was seen stealing a $30 Ring camera product, before fleeing the store, police said. He then ran into a nearby story Going, Going, Gone! store, where he quickly took more than $1,700 in goods, police said.
He fled to his car, where police were waiting.

Police said Kodee Brown, 25, was also responsible for theft of $2,100 in goods from Dick's Sporting Goods earlier in the afternoon.
Staff at Best Buy and Going, Going, Gone! positively identified Brown as the shoplifter, police said.

Brown was charged with misdemeanor retail theft for the incident at Best Buy, and felony retail theft from Dick's and Going, Going, Gone.
