Tree Lighting In Orland Park During Holiday Market, Festival
The village of Orland Park holiday tree will be lit during a market and festival outside the Orland Park Civic Center on Dec. 1.
ORLAND PARK, IL — A holiday market and festival are planned to ring in the holiday season in Orland Park. The market and festival will run from 4-7:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 1 outside the Orland Park Civic Center, 14750 Ravinia Ave.
Family fun will be had the entire time, including entertainment, visits with Santa, kiddie barrel train rides, sleigh rides and life-size holiday décor. The market will include ready to eat food, beer, wine, crafts and holiday items according to the village of Orland Park. Additional vendors are sought as well.
The lighting of the official village of Orland Park holiday tree will take place during the event.

For the fifth year, there will be a community tree trim in which scout troops, church groups, athletic teams, youth groups and community members are invited to “adopt” a tree to decorate in their own special way.
The number of trees will be limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
