2 Dead In Orland Park Murder-Suicide Identified: Medical Examiner
The incident happened in the 8500 block of 145th Place in the early hours of Jan. 1. The men were found dead inside the home.
ORLAND PARK, IL — Two men found shot to death in an Orland Park home Jan. 1 in what police are investigating as a murder-suicide have been identified.
Jonathan Paska, 37, of the 8800 block of Carnoustie Drive in Orland Park, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and his death was ruled a homicide. Michael Lafrey, 36, of the 145th Place address where the men were found, died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head, officials said. His death was ruled a suicide, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner.
Police were called just after 1 a.m. to the home in the 8500 block of 145th Place. Police said the two had returned from a night out shortly before the incident, said Orland Park Police Commander Ken Rosinksi. The two men were found dead inside.
