Volunteers Needed for Orland Township Grocery Distribution
Drive-thru scheduled for Aug. 21

Orland Township is looking for volunteers to help with the Aug. 21st drive-thru grocery distribution, according to the office of Township Supervisor Paul O’Grady.
Volunteers are needed for a variety of tasks, including filling grocery bags, loading residents’ vehicles with grocery items and recording recipient information. Standing for long periods of time and lifting will be required.
Volunteers are needed Friday, Aug. 21, for the following shifts:

- 8 a.m. to noon
- 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

High school students can earn service hours and should bring their Service Forms to the event. Volunteers will be required to wear a mask and gloves at all times, which will be provided by the Township.
