Warrant Issued For Alleged Circle K Red Bull Thief

Orland Park police said woman and son ran off with a case of Red Bull from Circle K.

ORLAND PARK, IL -- Orland Park police are looking for a Plainfield woman allegedly involved in a retail theft at a Circle K. Detectives were in court seeking a warrant for 42-year-old Florence Theis. She may be staying at a motel, police said.

The detective told the judge that Theis and her son went to the Orland Park Circle K at 93rd Avenue and 159th Street on Nov. 26. Theis reportedly placed a case of Red Bull into her cart. When her son asked the clerk for a pack of cigarettes, the detective said mother-and-son absconded with the Red Bull.

Theis had been arrested in Orland Park before, which enabled police to identify her as the alleged culprit in the Circle K Red Bull theft. The detective said that Theis had been staying at a motel in Oak Forest last August, but was in the process of getting kicked out, the detective said. Police have not been able to find her since.
