Westchester Book Lover Donates Books to Children Fighting Cancer

Westchester book lover Loraine Kubiak donated various books and $200 to the Pediatric Oncology Treasure Chest Foundation to benefit children and teens battling cancer. Loraine is “literarily” the best, and her most recent donation just adds to the hundreds of books she has donated over the years.
Loraine said, “The Treasure Chest Foundation is such a wonderful organization. Donating is a way to honor my friend Eileen Gorski. I love reading and I am a ‘Friend of the Library’, so I want to pass that joy of reading on.”
Kendra Connor, Executive Director of the Treasure Chest Foundation said, “Loraine is chapters and chapters ahead of the rest. Her support means the world to us. We are extremely grateful to her for her generous donation. Year after year Loraine continues to donate to the Treasure Chest Foundation, we cannot thank the generous donors like Loraine enough.”
