What is Your Child Missing by not Joining Scouting?

Scouting can help young people go places and do things they never thought possible.

What is your child missing by not joining the Boy Scouts? Well, whether it's turning a block of wood into a race car, shooting arrows properly and safely, cooking for themselves or a whole Patrol, learning
how to sail or developing experiments that are launched into space, Scouts go on amazing adventures while learning new skills, helping others, and building self-esteem.

Scouting's programs are expertly tailored to match each age in a young person's life. Cub Scouts is geared toward boys age 6-10 years old and/or grades Kindergarten-5, Boy Scouts is designed for boys and young men age 11-17, and Venturing and Sea Scouts are for young men and women age 14 through 21. No matter the age, Scouting can help young people go places and do things they never thought possible.

Boy Scouts of America (BSA) is inviting families across Chicago Southland to start their adventure by visiting a local Pack or Troop meeting and learning more about today's Scouting program. Interested families should visit www.beascout.org to find a local Pack or Troop and how to register.
