‘Which Wich’ Sandwich Shop Opening in Orland Park
A unique ordering style and giving back to the community are cornerstones of the chain that is adding a franchise on Lagrange Road.
ORLAND PARK, IL - Orland Park will soon have another option for sandwiches as a “Which Wich” franchise will open at a Park Pointe Plaza Shopping Center at 14934 S. Lagrange Road on April 10.
The shop will be the first for franchise owner Vishal Patel, whose uncle owns the franchise in Naperville.
“I looked up many locations and found this one to be special,” Patel said about the spot in Orland Park that’s nearing the end of construction. “I’m really excited about bringing this business to Orland Park.”

At Which Wich, customers order with a unique style.
Patel says customers fill out their preferences in what is called an “ordering bag” that allows the sandwich makers to know exactly what should come with which order and how everything should be made.

“You mark down what you want and we will customize it for you,” he said. “If you are not satisfied you will get a full refund and we will re-make your order.”
According to the Which Wich website, customers pick their sandwich and take the bag that corresponds with it. They mark with a sharpie their preferences, identify themselves on the bag and then wait for their name to be called.
Patel said that format has resulted in “zero complaints” at other franchises in the area he’s worked with. Other Which Wich locations in Illinois are in Naperville, Schaumburg, Champaign, Hoffman Estates, Oak Brook, Crystal Lake, Plainfield and Chicago.
In shooting for an April 10 opening, he says the business has already been welcomed warmly by the Orland Park Chamber of Commerce and that involvement in the community is a must.
The store will participate in a fundraiser that’s been going on at other Which Wich locations throughout the nation. Whenever someone buys a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, the store donates an additional to to a local charity. This is a corporate activity that began at the company’s headquarters in Dallas.
“This is an amazing opportunity,” Patel said of opening in Orland Park. “I look forward to being here for years to come.”
