Woman Found Shot to Death in Orland Park Garage; Husband in Custody
UPDATE: Police have identified the victim found in a garage on Sheri Lane as a 60-year-old Orland Park woman.
ORLAND PARK, IL - A woman was found dead in an Orland Park garage Friday and her husband is in custody.
Police identified the victim found in the garage of a home in the 14000 block of Sheri Lane Friday afternoon as Mary Homolka, 60, who lived at the home. She was the victim of a single gunshot wound to the head, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner.
Her husband, 60-year-old Raymond Homolka, was in custody as of early Saturday afternoon according to police.

Mary Homolka was found in the garage by Orland Park police, who are being assisted in the investigation by the South Suburban Major Crimes Task Force. Police said Friday they were called to the home to conduct a well-being check.
The death has been ruled a homicide.
