1 Hospitalized In 3-Car DUI Crash On Wolf Road: Oswego Police

An Oswego woman faces DUI charges after the Monday morning crash, police said in an update.

OSWEGO, IL — An Oswego woman has been charged in connection with a drunken three-car crash Monday morning on Wolf Road, police said.

One driver, a 39-year-old woman behind the wheel of a Nissan Rogue, was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries as a result of the crash at about 8:12 a.m. near the intersection with Emblem Circle, according to a Tuesday afternoon news release.

The preliminary investigation indicated a Nissan Pathfinder was headed east on Wolf Road when it struck a Nissan Rogue that was stopped in traffic, police shared. The impact caused the Rogue to hit a Mitsubishi Outlander, also stopped in eastbound traffic.

The driver of the Outlander, a 29-year-old woman, and a newborn passenger were uninjured.

Laura Hatch, the 44-year-old Oswego woman who drove the Pathfinder, faces two misdemeanor charges of driving under the influence. Booked at the Oswego Police Department, she was also cited with following too closely and failure to avoid accident.

Hatch was not injured in the crash, police said. Her next court date is set for June 9.
