Man, 23, Shot While Standing Outside During Dispute: Oswego Police

One person was shot and taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.

OSWEGO, IL — A 23-year-old man was shot while standing outside during a dispute Tuesday night, according to Oswego police.

Officers responded to the 2000 block of Farmington Lakes Drive at 7:37 p.m. Tuesday after receiving a call reporting shots fired. The person was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries before he was transferred to a Level 1 Trauma Center, which provides the highest level of trauma care, officials said.

In an update Wednesday afternoon, police said the incident appears to be isolated. The shooting remains under investigation.
