$2,000 Of Allergy Medicines Stolen: Oswego Police

OSWEGO, IL —
Thursday, July 6
Accident with injury
Oswego police reported Celina A. Rosas, 36, of Yorkville, and Raul Garcia, 39, of Aurora, were involved in a car accident at 2:30 p.m., July 6, at Route 30 and Wolf. Police say Garcia, the driver of the other vehicle, was taken to the hospital for a minor injury and was cited for driving while license suspended. Damage from the accident was $500.

Friday, July 7
Allergy medicine theft
Oswego police are investigating after they say more than $2,000 of different types of allergy medicines were stolen from the Meijer located at 2700 Route 34. Police reported the incident took place just before 10 p.m., July 7 and was reported on July 8.

Saturday, July 8
DUI
Oswego police reported Gregory Payne, 55, of the 200 block of 7th Street, Rockford, was driving at 6:58 a.m., July 8, when he failed to reduce the speed of his Sedan to avoid an accident and left the scene. He was arrested at 7:19 a.m. Oswego police reported the incident took place near Mill Road and Heatherwood Drive. Police reported Payne as also recognized for improper lane usage and was charged with DUI, Driving While License Suspended and OUMV. Damage is $1,500. He was taken to Kendall County Sheriff's Office and his court date is scheduled for Aug. 7, 2018.
