36 Sex Crime Charges Filed Against Oswego Man Accused Of Abuse

Police said his arrest followed a 10-month investigation.

OSWEGO, IL — An Oswego man accused of molesting several young family members was arrested Thursday at his Naperville workplace, police said.

Brian Husley, 47, of the 400 block of Sudbury Court, was taken into custody on a warrant issued by a judge in Kendall County, where prosecutors approved 36 felony charges against Husley.

Husley is charged with six counts of predatory sexual assault, eight counts of criminal sexual assault and 22 counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse.

His arrest followed a 10-month investigation by Oswego police, according to the department. Police said the crimes occurred between August 2018 to August 2020, when their investigation started.

Hulsey was arrested by members of a federal fugitive task force around 9 a.m. in the 400 block of Fort Hill Drive. He was held in lieu of the $50,000 cash portion of the bond associated with his warrant and taken to the DuPage County Jail for processing.

No information about his next scheduled court appearance or defense attorney was immediately available.

Police said the charges involve at least three of Husley's family members. At least one of the children he is accused of abusing was younger than 13 at the time.
