38 Seat Belt Citations Given During St. Paddy's Day Crackdown
No drivers were found to be under the influence.

Several people in the Oswego area will be more likely to wear a seat belt after the Oswego Police Department’s St. Patrick’s Day crackdown.
According to a release from the department, Oswego police gave out 38 seat belt citations. In addition, 17 citations were given for driving while using a cellphone. No drivers were found to be under the influence.
The crackdown was funded by federal traffic safety funds through the Illinois Department of Transportation, and is part of the statewide “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” and “Click It or Ticket” campaigns.
