Adopt Me: Seven Reasons to Adopt Blake

That adorable creature up there? That’s Blake, a one-year-old male domestic shorthair living at the Kendall County Animal Control shelter in Yorkville. And Blake’s looking for a home.

Here are seven reasons why you should adopt him.

1. Blake is a purring machine, in the words of Warden Anna Payton. He loves to be happy, and to make others happy.
2. Blake is very social and outgoing, and would fit in well with any kind of family.
3. He’s neutered, and is up to date on all his shots.
4. Blake was a stray, and has been at the shelter for three weeks. That’s long enough to be in a cage.
5. He loves to play with toys, so if you have young kids, and they have toys, he’ll be in kitty heaven.
6. He loves to be held and snuggled, so if you need a companion, or you’re feeling lonely, Blake will fit the bill nicely.
