
Josh Baedke, Boy Scout Troop 12 of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Montgomery, was recently recognized for achieving scouting’s highest rank of Eagle. In order to become an Eagle Scout, Josh followed the scouting advancement trail for 11 years meeting requirements in leadership, service and outdoor skills. He planned and managed all aspects of the installation of a bike rack at New Song Community Church in Aurora, for his Eagle Project.
Josh is a senior at OEHS where he is an honor student and active in the band program, First Robotics Team, Scholastic Bowl Varsity Team, the National Honor Society, the Science National Honor Society and Mu Alpha Theta. Next year, he will attend college in pursuit of a Mechanical Engineering degree. Josh is pictured with Scoutmaster, Dennis Humbard, and his father, Darryl Baedke.
