Emma Paravola, of Oswego and a seventh grader at Traughber Jr High, along with her U12 girls hockey team, won the State Championship last Friday night at the Edge Ice Arena in Bensenville. Emma plays for the Sabres Hockey Club based in Naperville, IL. The girls had an outstanding undefeated season also winning their league championship, Wolves Cup, and best league record, the Presidents Cup. Their win at the State Championship allows their hockey team to compete at the national level in Anahiem, California on March 29-April 3.
