Hairspray the Musical at Oswego High School

Hello all Oswegoans!  Run over to Oswego High School tonight or tomorrow 7pm to see the musical, Hairspray. 

The cast and crew were phenomenal!!!  Tracy, played by Maureen O'Hara was incredible!  Great job singing and acting.  The part was made for her.  Edna, played by Benjamin Brawner, channeled John Travolta from the movie.  Awesome job! 

Little Penny, played by Katie Meyer was adorable and had great chemistry with Seaweed, played by Dominique Stacy was like a young Usher.  Velma Von Tussle, played by Melissa Claussen was a great actress and singer.  She looked gorgeous in her costumes from Savvy Fashions and More.  Little Inez, Yasmine Gordon, was great. 

I would love to have heard her sing some more.  Great voice.  The best for last, Mototrmouth Maybelle, Breana Jones was SO GOOD, she made me cry and gave me goosebumps!  She needs to be on the radio-or my Ipod.
