Armed Robbery At Gas Station In Kendall County: No Weapon Drawn

Two people had their personal belongings stolen while pumping gas Tuesday, investigators said.

KENDALL COUNTY, IL — Two people were robbed while pumping gas Tuesday at a Shell station outside of Minooka, officials said.

The incident happened around 9:32 p.m. at the gas station at 17845 N. Ridge Road in Steward Township within unincorporated Kendall County.

Deputies at the Kendall County Sheriff's Office are investigating the incident as an armed robbery. Deputy Dan Briars told Patch the offender implied possession of a weapon but did not brandish one.

The person stole the two people's personal belongings, including their IDs and cash, Briars said.

No injuries were reported. The sheriff's office continues to investigate the incident.
