Battery, Fraud, Vehicle Stolen: Oswego Blotter
Arrests and incidents occurred between May 19 and June 1.

All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
May 19
A 34-year-old woman reported June 1 that someone used her social security number and personal information to open several AT&T accounts. Police are investigating.

May 27
Justin Noel, 18, of Oswego, and a 16-year-old female juvenile were charged with domestic battery. The incident occurred in the 200 block of Ashcroft.

May 28
Edgar Herrera Jr., 20, of the 500 block of Farnsworth Ave. in Aurora, was charged with retail theft, possession of alcohol by a minor and possession of cannabis. The incident occurred at 2700 Rt. 34 and Prairie Market.
Rebecca L. Smith, 35, of the 400 block of Canterbury Ct., was charged with unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and assault. The incident occurred at her home.
Daniel Tondu, 53, of the 200 block of Bluegrass Parkway, was charged with two counts of battery. The incident occurred in the 3500 block of Rt. 34 and Chesterfield.
May 30
Police are investigating a criminal damage to property incident in which two vehicle tires were slashed and a TV was broken.
May 31
A 49-year-old man reported that his vehicle was stolen while parked in the driveway.
June 1
Austin M. Bartell, 20, of the 2600 block of Woolley, was charged with retail theft and unlawful possession of liquor. The incident occurred at 2700 Route 34.
Esaiah M. Escamilla, 18, of the 2000 block of Best Place in Aurora, was charged with no valid driver’s license, leaving the scene of an accident, underage possession of alcohol, possession of stolen vehicle, retail theft and theft. The incident occurred at Heritage and Route 34.
