'Bear Force One' is For Sale

Despite the team’s poor record and consistent underachievement over the past two decades, fans of the Chicago Bears travel as well as any other team in the National Football League.

But only one fan will be able to travel to the team’s away games in “Bear Force One,” a recreational vehicle one fan has turned into a complete homage to the Monsters of the Midway.

Someone in the Oswego area has listed the RV on Craigslist for only $1,250. There is one catch, however.

“I put a new race motor in it last year, but on the way to the game this past Sunday, the motor froze up,” the Craigslist post, originally dated Nov. 3 and updated Nov. 7, read.

A poster of the great Mike Ditka and a mini-Fathead of former tight end Greg Olsen are included in the vehicle, which is decorated fully in the navy blue and orange with images of Walter Payton and Brian Urlacher on the exterior.

All cushions and tables inside the vehicle are also decorated in Bears colors.

“AWESOME BEARS RV FOR SALE. I PUT A NEW RACE MOTOR IN IT LAST YEAR, BUT ON THE WAY TO THE GAME THIS PAST SUNDAY, THE MOTOR FROZE UP. I HAVE PUT NEW BRAKES AND CUSTOM EXHAUST ON IT AS WELL.
