Broken Windows At Chick-Fil-A, Meijer: Oswego Police

Plus: Two people hurt in an attempted theft.

March 18: Police are investigating a report of employee theft at a business at 2840 Route 34. The theft reportedly occurred in December.

April 1: Police responded to Meijer, 2700 Route 34, for a report a pane of glass being shot out with at BB gun at around 11:15 p.m. Sunday. Police said the accused window-breaker is described as a black male about 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-11 tall and weighing 160 to 185 pounds. He was wearing a black hat and a black Adidas jacket with white stripes on the sleeves, according to a police report.

April 1: Ronelle R. Dortch, 20, of the 800 block of Randall Road, was charged with attempted theft and aggravated battery following an incident at 8:40 a.m. near Plainfield Road and Linden Drive. The victims, who were injured but not taken to a hospital, were two males from Oswego and Aurora, according to a police report.

April 2: Someone broke a window at Chick-Fil-A in an incident that was reported early Monday morning. A police report gives no information on a potential suspect but said the incident is pending further investigation.
