Car Wrecks Landscaping, Meijer Theft: Oswego Police Reports

A look at recent arrests and incidents in Oswego.

James Hawkins Jr., 24, of Yorkville, was arrested at 11:17 p.m. April 4 near Route 34 and Orchard Road on a charge of DUI after a two-car crash involving a vehicle driven by a 56-year-old Oswego woman. No injuries were reported.

A vehicle rear-ended another car at around 2:46 p.m. April 5 near Harvey and Townsend after failing to slow on wet pavement. No injuries were reported.

Oswego police are investigating a report of property damage after a vehicle drove all over property owned by Oswego Futsal and caused significant damage to the landscaping sometime on April 4.

Someone stole $458.77 worth of merchandise from Meijer, 2700 Route 34, at around 4 p.m. April 2. No description of a suspect was listed in police reports.
