Cheesecake Store To Appear On 'Chicago's Best'

PLAINFIELD, IL — From appearing at farmers markets and selling treats out of his famous "Cheesecake Mobile" to a successful Plainfield eatery, Steve Buresh — also known as "The Cheesecake Guy" — has earned accolades for his cuisine and has an Oswego location in the works. Now, his business, Steve Buresh's Cheesecake Store & Sandwich Shop, will appear on WGN-TV's "Chicago's Best.

Host Elliott Bambrough and his crew recently visited the Plainfield location, 14210 S. Route 30, to film the episode, which is set to air on Feb. 19, according to Buresh.

The eatery, which opened in 2014, serves up soup, sandwiches and, of course, Buresh's famous cheesecake. Now, an Oswego location is set to open soon at 1019 Station Drive.

"Chicago's Best" airs at 10 p.m. Sundays on WGN-TV and replays at various times during the week on WGN-TV and CLTV.
