College Credits: Oswego Communications Student Earns Scholarship

Oswego student named to Harding University dean's list

Halen Skipworth, a Junior studying English, is among more than 1,200 Harding University students included on the dean's list for grades achieved during the fall 2021 semester.

The dean's list is published each semester by Dr. Marty Spears, University provost, honoring those who have achieved high scholarship. To be eligible, a student must be carrying 12 or more hours with a 3.65 or higher grade-point average and no incompletes.

Oswego students make it onto university deal’s list

The following students were named to the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Dean's List for the 2021 fall semester.

• Oswego, IL (60543): Erik Ahlquist who is studying Physics
• Oswego, IL (60543): Kaitlyn Grove who is studying Theatre
• Oswego, IL (60543): Madeline Wyatt who is studying Communication Sciences and Disorders

These students have demonstrated their academic abilities by receiving a grade point average of 3.4 or above in a single semester.

"I want to extend my congratulations to every student who set high academic standards for the fall semester and achieved a high grade point meriting recognition through the college Dean's List," said John Chenoweth, provost and vice chancellor for academic affairs. Oswego student earns dean's list recognition at Valdosta State University

Valdosta State University congratulates Jessica Smith of Oswego, for earning a spot on the Fall 2021 Dean's List.

Dean's List honors are reserved for the highest achieving students at VSU. Smith is one of more than 1,700 distinguished and accomplished students recognized for exemplifying excellence in the attainment of their educational goals.

Madeline Wyatt earns scholarship from UW-Whitewater

Madeline Wyatt from Oswego, a student who is studying Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, is among the scholarship recipients for the 2021-22 academic year.

Wyatt won the following scholarship(s): Chancellor Scholars
