Oswego native receives several scholarships to Loyola University Chicago

Nick Bianchi, an Oswego resident of 20 years, graduated from Aurora Central Catholic High School in 2021 and is currently a student at Loyola University Chicago. Below are his most recent achievements:

• 2021-2022 Loyola University Chicago Dean's List
• Chicago Bears (Spring 2022- Fall 2023): Member of a 16-person team responsible for managing on-site attendee events and team package sales during training camp (Halas Hall) and home games (Soldier Field)
• One of 200+ Loyola University Chicago students accepted into the school's study-abroad program at the John Felice Rome Center in Italy (January - April 2023)
• Sokolowski Scholarship (2022/2023)
• Chicago Catholic Heritage Award (2021-2025)
• Dean's Scholarship (2021-2025)

Oswego student makes dean’s list at Western Illinois University

A total of 1,103 undergraduate students enrolled at Western Illinois University were named to the Fall 2022 Dean's List.

Jacob Westpfahl, an Oswego East High School graduate, was among the students to be honored.

To receive this award, an undergraduate student must earn at least a 3.6-grade point average on a scale of 4.0, which equals an A in a minimum of 12 credit hours of graded courses; pass-fail hours are not counted (e.g., student teaching, internships).

Oswego student makes academic achievement listed at Georgia university

Michael Drennon, a resident of Oswego, IL, made the Fall 2022 Academic Achievement List at Georgia Southwestern State University and was among 596 students recognized for scholastic achievement.

To be eligible for the Academic Achievement List, a student must previously earn at least 12 credit hours at GSW, be enrolled in 3 to 11 hours of courses, and earn a 3.5 or higher GPA.

Olivet Nazarene University fall 2022 dean's list includes Oswego students

Oswego students who made Olivet Nazarene University's fall 2022 dean's list include the following.

To qualify for inclusion on the Dean's List, a student must have been enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student and must have attained a semester grade point average of 3.50 or higher on a 4.00 grading scale.

More than 1800 students were named to Bradley's Fall 2022 Dean's List. To be eligible for the Dean's List, a student must achieve a minimum 3.5-grade point average for the semester on a 4.0 scale.

Carissa Johnson, a Bondurant student majoring in Nursing, was named to the fall 2022 Dean's List at Cedarville University. Students receive this recognition for obtaining a 3.5 GPA or higher for the semester and carrying a minimum of 12 credit hours.

SNHU announces fall 2022 president's list

It is with great pleasure that Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) congratulates the following students on being named to the Fall 2022 President's List. The fall terms run from September to December.

Full-time undergraduate students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.700 and above for the reporting term are named to the President's List. Full-time status is achieved by earning 12 credits over each 16-week term or paired 8-week terms grouped in fall, winter/spring, and summer.
