College Credits: Oswego Siblings Earn Dean’s List Nods At College

Oswego native named to Illinois Wesleyan dean’s list

Taylor Tarver, of Oswego, Illinois, was named to the Dean's List for the fall semester of the 2022-23 academic year at Illinois Wesleyan University. Tarver is a junior majoring in Marketing.

Tarver was among 757 students from 28 states and 28 countries named to the Fall 2022 Dean's List.

To qualify for the Dean's List, students must earn a GPA of 3.50 or better during the semester, based on 4.0 for straight As.

Oswego High student wins full tuition scholarship to university

Cameron Tarver won a full tuition scholarship to attend Iowa State University to study Animal Sciences in the fall of 2023. Cameron is graduating from Oswego High School in May.

Oswego siblings earn dean’s list nods at respective universities

Bradley Andrus, of Oswego, attends the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and majors in Industrial Technology Management. He made the dean's list in fall 2022.

Christopher Andrus, of Oswego, attends Eastern Illinois University and majors in Vocal Performance and Audio and Recording Technology. He made the dean's list in fall 2022.

Belmont University announces fall 2022 dean's list

The following students achieved the Dean's List at Belmont University for the Fall 2022 semester. Eligibility is based on a minimum course load of 12 hours (exclusive of audit and pass/fail courses this semester) and a quality grade point average of 3.5 with no grade below a C (inclusive of audit, pass/fail courses and zero-credit courses).

Oswego student makes Harding University Dean's List

Halen Skipworth, a senior studying English, is among more than 1,200 Harding University students included on the dean's list for grades achieved during the fall 2022 semester.

The dean's list is published each semester by Dr. Marty Spears, University provost, honoring those who have achieved high scholarship. To be eligible, a student must be carrying 12 or more hours with a 3.65 or higher grade-point average and no incomplete.

University of Iowa 2022 fall semester president's list honorees announced

More than 870 undergraduate students at the University of Iowa named to the president's list for the 2022 fall semester. President's list status was earned by only two first year undergraduates during the 2022 fall semester at Iowa; only 133 second year students; only 270 third year students; and only 405 fourth year students.

University of Iowa undergraduates who achieve a grade point average (GPA; 4.0 is an A) of 4.0 in 12 semester hours or more of UI graded coursework and who have no "I" marks (incompletes) or "O" marks (no grade reported) on their records for two consecutive semesters (excluding summer session) are recognized by inclusion on the president's list.
