Oswego student wins 2022-23 Missouri Valley Conference All-Academic Award
Belmont University earned the 2022-23 Missouri Valley Conference All-Academic Award. Jack Randall, of Oswego, contributed to this recognition as a Belmont student-athlete.

During the 2022-23 academic year, Belmont student-athletes posted a 3.522 grade-point average, placing ahead of Evansville and Northern Iowa.
Every year since 2002-03, the MVC All-Academic Award has been presented to the member institution that finishes the school year with the best grade-point average among its student-athletes who participate in a Valley-sponsored sport.

Local students graduate from Bradley University
Bradley University congratulates the 900-plus students who earned degrees in May. The following students earned degrees:
- Riley Martin of Oswego (60543) received a BS in Biomedical Science Pre-Med
- Summer Bergmann of Oswego (60543) received a BS in Psychology
- Benjamen Bachmann of Oswego (60543) received a BSEE in Electrical Engineering Computer Option
- Casey Haynes of Oswego (60543) received a MBA in Business Administration

Oswego students named to Bradley University Spring 2023 Dean's List
More than 1700 students were named to Bradley's Dean's List for Spring 2023. To be eligible for the Dean's List, a student must achieve a minimum 3.5 grade point average for the semester on a 4.0 scale.

Oswego student earns University of Nebraska-Lincoln degree
Kobe Daniel Taylor of Oswego was among 583 graduates who received degrees from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln during a combined graduate and undergraduate commencement ceremony Aug. 12 at Pinnacle Bank Arena.
Taylor earned a Bachelor of Science in PGA Golf Management from the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources.
The graduates are from 33 countries; 35 U.S. states and Puerto Rico; and more than 60 Nebraska communities.
