Millikin University is pleased to announce the names of the outstanding undergraduates who have been named to the Dean's List for the spring 2021 semester.

Students who attempt 12 graded credits during a fall or spring semester and earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher earn Dean's List honors. Students earning a perfect 4.00 grade point average on 12 graded credits attempted earn High Dean's List honors.

Local student graduates from Missouri State University
Missouri State University awarded 2,954 degrees to students in spring 2021. The commencement ceremonies took place May 13-14, 2021, at JQH Arena.
Carly Mcclernon of Oswego graduated with a Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders.
Students who graduated with honors completed at least 30 undergraduate credit hours with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5.

Local first-year student attends virtual orientation at Iowa State University
Annie Edelman of Oswego, IL (60543) attended Iowa State University College of Human Sciences OnCyte Orientation on the Ames campus. OnCyte Orientation complements the extensive online orientation many incoming students completed in the spring. Edelman, who has opted to major in Dietetics, joined other students and their families to become more familiar with the campus, learn tips for making the most of college, and sign up for classes.
Students in the Iowa State University College of Human Sciences prepare to work in fields that impact the health, well-being, and education of individuals throughout the lifespan to advance families, schools, and communities. Scholars and practitioners in these fields work together to expand human potential and improve people's lives.
The college encompasses academic units that include the School of Education and four departments, including apparel, events, and hospitality management; food science and human nutrition; human development and family studies; and kinesiology and health. In partnership with Human Sciences Extension and Outreach, these units provide outreach to improve the daily lives of Iowans and others around the world.
