Concrete to be Placed Along IL 71 in Oswego

IDOT’S contractor has scheduled to place concrete pavement along IL 71 from Orchard Road to just east of Main Street at 5 a.m. Wednesday, June 17. The road work was originally scheduled for Motorists should expect significant delays and take alternate routes, if possible. There will be many trucks entering and leaving the roadway in this area.

The contractor will work well into the evening to saw contraction joints into the new pavement. The Village will pass along any additional updates provided by IDOT through its social media outlets.
