Coroner Toftoy Jokes About Staring at Dead Woman's Vagina: Report

When asked if the dead woman had any tattoos, the coroner's response was less than professional.

Kendall County Coroner Ken Toftoy can be heard laughing about staring at a dead woman’s genitalia on a recording obtained by WSPY.

According to the report, Toftoy, along with Carl Gutierrez, who is running for Kendall County Coroner and is a deputy coroner, and Kendall County board member Matthew Prochaska, laughed about the remark made by Toftoy.

“Any tattoos, Ken,” Gutierrez asks in the recording, posted on WSPY’s website.

“I couldn’t see cause I was staring at her p---y,” Toftoy said.

Later in the surveillance footage, Gutierrez “indicates that people have been invited and are encouraged to attend the autopsies as guests and possibly allowed to take pictures,” according to WSPY. He also reportedly referred to either a body or bodies as “500 pound beast(s).”

In the past few weeks, Toftoy has come under fire for reportedly giving out coroner badges in return for favors and trying to get Kendall County Deputy Coroner Jacquie Purcell fired.
